Activity groups for over-75s
Our new activity groups will bring together people (over 75) in local communities across Wales through initiating and running activity-based groups to help reduce loneliness, social isolation and improve physical wellbeing.
Our groups will use community spaces to host a range of activities which can be anything from dancing, chair yoga and gardening to tai chi, light fitness classes or boules.

Group coordinator (Wales)
You will coordinate activity-based groups for people over 75 in community centres, pubs or church spaces. Groups will host between four and 15 activity guests, along with our volunteer drivers who pick up and drop off our activity guests.

Activity lead (Wales)
As an activity lead you will run a local Re-engage group who meet on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Activities can vary from Boccia, skittles and dancing, to gardening, curling or coming up with your own activity to get people moving.

Volunteer driver (Wales)
As a volunteer driver you will be picking up 1-2 older people from their homes to join our regular activity groups. As you can imagine these monthly outings are the highlight of the month for many of our activity guests.
About us
We are a charity that is positive about older age and committed to fighting loneliness so that people can have social lives and friendship however old they are. We inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation.
Our new activity groups will increase Re-engages capacity to respond to loneliness and social isolation among over-75s across Wales, through initiating and running activity-based groups focusing on physical health and wellbeing.
